Nov. 22, 1948 - May 24, 2023
As a result of severe complications from pneumonia, sister Sue Newman and (‘my bro-in-law’ , as Nancy called him) Wilf Trivett, bid a heart-breaking farewell to our beloved Nancy at 4:24 on May 24, 2023 at North York General Hospital. Internment occurred June 20th at St. John’s Norway Cemetery next to her parents, Earl and Minnie Halford and maternal Grandparents, Eli and Brillanah (Pegg) Brookes. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses of the 6th Floor, Critical Care Unit at North York General Hospital, for their care and kindness throughout. A ‘Celebration of Life’ gathering will occur at a later date, which will be posted on the Carson Funeral Home Website, Orillia.
