Remembering Joan Lydia Sovey

Passed peacefully, at the Georgian Bay Hospital on March 6^th, 2023 at the age of 87. Beloved daughter of the late Arsen and Mable Sovey. Cherished sister to Jim (Marie) Sovey.  Joan is predeceased by her siblings Raylene Edwards, Douglas Sovey, and Thelma Sovey. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Joan was a special friend to Joyce and the Trollope Family, especially their children Matt, Ryan, Nicole, Scott, Brandon, Brianna, and their families.  The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel on Monday March 13, 2023 from 11 am until time of service in the chapel at 1 o’clock.  Interment will take place in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis, Juvenile Diabetes, or the United Church would be appreciated by the family.
