Died in her 90th year on February 27, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Wolfgang Leska (1995). Loving mother of Erich Leska (Barbara). Loved grandmother of Arabella. Predeceased by her caring companion Siegfried and will be missed by his children Irene, Carole and Andrea. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring on the family farm in Brechin.
Christa was born in Germany. Came to Canada with Wolfgang in 1961 residing in North York and running their business in Markham. They then moved to Brechin and started Leska’s Meats and Deli in 1986.
Christa will be remembered as a dedicated hardworking family oriented woman. She will be missed by relatives in Germany and the customers and friends she has made over the years in Toronto and Orillia.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family farm, 1992 Concession 9, Ramara, East of 169 hwy on Sundqay June 25, 2023 from 1-4 P.M.
