Remembering Thomas Ian McClelland 'Tom'

Thomas Ian McClelland, fondly known as "Tom" or "Tommy," passed away suddenly on January 31st 2023 at the age of 63. Tom was born in Mississauga and was a talented hockey player and musician. His fondest childhood memories were spent at the family cottage on Six Mile Lake, where he enjoyed slalom skiing, barefooting and boating. Tom's talents were unending; He could complete any home renovation, play piano, guitar and trumpet, and tell a dramatic soliloquy. Tom lives on through his loving wife of 36 years, Tanya, as well as his three children, Michelle (Justin), Tommy (Krista), and Lorne. He is the beloved grandfather to Riley and Autumn. A celebration of life will be held at the home of Tanya and Tom in Orillia this summer. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
