It is with sadness we announce the death of Doris May Vyse (December 7 1923 - November 30 2022). She was one week short of her 99th birthday. Doris was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who passed away of natural causes at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles (Charlie) William Vyse in 2002. Doris was the last of her family, predeceased by her brother Howard Holdsworth, sister Muriel Holdsworth Parker, and Betty Holdsworth Farrell.
She is survived by her daughter Judith (Donald) Thomson, son Steve (Jill) Vyse, grandchildren Lisa Thomson-Roop (Ted), Andrew Thomson (Krista Telford),Christopher Vyse (Amy), Simon Vyse (Tara) and great grandchildren Grace Roop & Tom Roop, Alisha Thomson and Parker Thomson, Abby Vyse, Mila Vyse and Hudson Vyse.
Doris moved away from Big Cedar Estates just over a year ago. She remembered her 40+ years there, as well as countless years at Scarlet Park, with much affection.
