Passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on Tuesday October 25, 2022 at Georgian Bay General Hospital. George will forever be loved by his best friend for over 40 years, Dorothy Hunter. Cherished and loving father to Corrina Iles Mazurkiewicz and Stacey Iles, Daniel (Jennifer) Hunter, Darren (Kristy) Hunter, and Bev Vance. Beloved Grandpa to Joshua Temple, Jennifer Temple, Ally Hunter, Julia Hunter, Christopher Carleton, Winter Hunter, River Hunter, Meadow Hunter, and Ethan Vance. Great Grandpa to Damien Temple. George will be missed by many friends and relatives. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551. If desired, memorial donations to the OSPCA or Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
