Remembering William Robert Starr 'Bill'

Born January 1st 1943, passed August 27th 2022 in his 80th year. Passed suddenly but peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. Loving husband of Molly (nee Gilbert), great dad of his son Cecil and daughter in law Katie Macdonald of Englehart and son Kriston (predeceased). Doting grandpa of Charlee and Norah Starr of Englehart. Bill always had a love for music and cooking. He did many great things in his life, but his granddaughters brought the biggest smiles. Son of Anne and Peter Derbowka, (both pre deceased) and Nick Starr (predeceased). Brother of Ron Starr and Elaine Starr (predeceased). Brother in law of Alma Hill and Bill Hill (predeceased), and Marjorie Adams and Len Adams (predeceased). Survived by aunts Helen Maksimchuk and Helen Kruk. Bill will be missed by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as many other family, friends and neighbors. Thanks to the EMS and the doctors and nurses at RVH and OSMH for their efforts and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Carden Hall, 258 Lake Dalrymple Rd. on Saturday October 29, 2022 from 1-5 P.M.
