Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday May 25, 2022. Loving Husband of the late Shirley Laird (nee Gemmell). Beloved father of Rhonda Williams, Jim (Robin) Williams, Bradley Williams, Brian Mitchell, and Shannon (David) Allen. Cherished Papa of Scott (Lindsey) Williamson, William (Blair) Williamson, Joshua Williams, Shaelyn (Jeff) Dorion, Ashley Williams, Michael Mitchell, Caitlynne Laird (Ian), Nathan Williams, Colton Mitchell, Grace Williams, Cameron Allen and great Papa of Connor, Jaden, Brysen, Lexi, Liam, Peyton, Blake, and Travis. Dear brother of Arden (late Rose) Laird. Neil is predeceased by his parents Carlton and Annie Pearl Laird, siblings Carolyn Buckley, Sandra (Frank) Wilson, Charles "Chuckie" Laird and great-grandson Owen Williamson. Neil will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family would like to send a big thank you to Dr. Brian Morris and to all the nurses from Bay Shore Nursing.
Cremation has taken place; a graveside service will be held on Saturday August 27, 2022 at 11am at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines.
