It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lillian Mark (nee Russell) share the notice of her peaceful passing at home on April 23, 2022 in her 93rd year. She is survived by her husband of 73 years Ernest Mark, her brother Edward Russell, and predeceased by William and James Russell. Also survived by her children Russell (predeceased), Lynda (Michael), Brian (Laurie), David (Lynn), Rob (Sandra), her daughter-in-law Sandy Mark, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Lillian was raised in a family of Barbershoppers and her passion was to entertain at the community churches and then nursing homes in her later years. Whether it was playing along with her guitar group or singing, it would warm her heart when everyone got involved.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lillian’s memory to your charity of choice. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705) 326-3595.
