Remembering Hilja Adelson

Passed away at Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital in her 98^th year. She was born in Tallinn, Estonia and immigrated to Canada with Voldemar Adelson (predeceased) in 1950. Cherished mother of Merike Barron (Colin) and Peeter Urmas Adelson (predeceased). She leaves behind her grandchildren Adam Barron, Kevin Barron (predeceased), Mark Barron (predeceased), Stephanie Adelson, Georgia Adelson and Hunter Adelson. She will be dearly missed by her 6 great-grandchildren Anthony, Ashley, Gregory, Brooke, Carter, Cayley and 3 great-great-grandchildren Rydar, Avery and Rory. She will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families in Estonia. Hilja was a bookkeeper and worked at the Ministry of Natural Resources until she retired and moved to Lagoon City which became her home for over 35 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OSMH in Orillia or the Lagoon City Community Association in Brechin and will be received by the Carson Funeral Homes – L.
