Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 3:40pm., Paul Ronthaler Alfred Edward Skazin passed away surroubded by his loving family at the age of 82, after a battle with cancer. He will be remembered and cherished by his loving family – wife Virginia; children Donald (Ellen), Janet (Steve), Leo (Carol); grandchildren Jennifer (Mathew), Grant (Emily), Robert, Tiffany (Brad), Laura (Kevin), Crystal, Sara; great grandchildren Rilee, Carter, Chase, and Hunter. Sorely missed by sister Carolyn (Bill), brother Peter (Sandi) and niece Emily.
Paul’s occupation was finance beginning with the Royal Bank of Canada, continuing with various businesses and ending with retirement from GMAC commercial finance and real estate. He was vice president of several companies. Educated at Crescent School, East York Collegiate and University of Toronto. He was a longstanding member of Ionic Lodge #25 (almost 50 years) and various other Masonic commitments. We all love you our dearest Paul, goodbye until we meet again.
A celebration of life for Paul will be held on Saturday April 9, 2022 from 2pm - 4pm at Carson Funeral Homes -Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland, Ontario (705)526-6551.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Georgian Bay General Hospital or Huronia Hospice Tomkins House.
