Passed suddenly at home in Orillia on Monday October 18, 2021 in his 73rd year. Alastair, husband to Cheryl, will be sadly missed by his children Glenn (Patricia Mendoza) and Kyle (Amanda) and by his mother Lois. Al loved spending time with his 3 grandchildren Ethan, Aiden, and Austin. Al is survived by his siblings Virginia (Arn), Evan (Liz), Laurie (Harold), and Sheila (Keith), and is predeceased by his father Harold. Al enjoyed a career that took him to Alberta with the RCMP and London England, Ankara Turkey, Islamabad Pakistan, and Amman Jordan with CSIS. Alastair loved watching and playing sports of all kinds, especially with the grandchildren. Cremation has taken place, if desired memorial donations may be made to your charity of choice and will be accepted by the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595.
