Remembering Clifford Earl Richards

Clifford Earl Richards (August 6th, 1932).  The best Dad a family could ever have !   Loved deeply by his three Daughters, Carol Morrison, Julie Richards and Susan Thorburn and his devoted wife Doris (67 years).

He was an amazing family man always looking out for all of us in his quiet and supportive way.   He was so proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Mathew Morrison (Theresa), Bridget, Jocelyn, Lillian; Brianna McKenna (Neil), Charlotte;  Alex Bramhill, Lesley Bramhill, Curtis Thorburn and Jaxson Thorburn.

As well as our adopted family, Dennis and Judith Cameron, Andrew (Amy) Annalise, Autumn and Amy.

He will be sadly missed by his brothers and their wives and families and many other relatives.

He was a terrific friend to so many Kirby Wagg, Dan Shilling, Mike Bailey and more !  A lacrosse coach and an avid Canadian sports fan.

Everyone loved Cliff and he loved them right back Larry Morrison, Bev Bramhill and David Thorburn hold a special place in his heart.  He was so kind and caring.

At the end he taught us a love for life, a never failing determination and to always keep a positive attitude.   He never gave up.

He will always live in our hearts.

A very special Thank you to all of the caregivers at Spencer House that looked after Dad through Covid-19.   They made it work for all of us to the very best of their abilities.  Heartfelt appreciation to Nurse Sarah for all of her loving care and support to the family.

In lieu of flowers, our family suggests Dad/Cliff would appreciate donations be made to Bridget's Bunnies in his honour. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/bridgets-bunnies/    We also ask that you hug those you can while you can.  Kiss them and tell them you love them.  There are so many ways to show love.
