Remembering Mildred Edna Readman (nee Hagan)

October 5, 1923 – May 7, 2021

Life long member of the Ladies Orange Benevolent Assoc. Orillia Unity Lodge 343

Passed away peacefully at the Trillium Manor with her family by her side at the age of 97. Wife of the late Mervin Hilton Readman (1990), daughter of the late Ben & Ida Hagan (nee Burton). Loving mother of Allan (Karen) and Ben (Nicole). Mildred is predeceased by her siblings Alvin Hagan, Orma Jermey (Orval) and Mary McDonough (Ken). The lodge that mom belonged to help fund to build the Trillium Manor in 1969. A place where she volunteered since it opened for 43 years. She was a lady who never sat still and will be missed by so many people; she was a mom to so many. We would like to thank the entire staff of the Trillium Manor for their care and compassion during these difficult times. Due to Covid restrictions, a private graveside service will be held and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Trillium Manor Bus Fund, the Orillia SPCA or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family all can be done through Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes.
