It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Lou Reynolds after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Helen and Arthur Harp, she was the beloved wife of David Norris Reynolds and proud mother of son David (Abby) and daughter Nancy Meyer (Mike). She adored her four beautiful granddaughters Cassie & Asha Reynolds and Lacey & Emma Meyer. Dear sister of Carol Anne Sanders (John), Janie McBurney (Dave) and Susan Phillips. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all. Mary Lou was born on April 13, 1946 and died on her 75th birthday Tuesday April 13, 2021. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the fourth floor nursing staff at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital for the dedicated care Mary Lou received during her seven week hospital stay. As per Mary Lou's wishes cremation has taken place and the family will receive visitors at the Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia on Saturday May 1, 2021 from 12 to 4. Due to current world events, (Covid-19 restrictions) attendance is limited to a specific number of persons within the facility at any one time. Please call the funeral home to reserve a time slot for your visitation with the family within regular business hours. You are instructed to arrive just a few minutes prior to your desired time. Staff will advise when space permits within the funeral home. The visitation time is allocated to 10 minutes. Please be aware that others will have scheduled their time with the family. Masks are mandatory inside the funeral home and social distancing is practiced. Gathering outside of the facility is not permitted. We thank you for respecting the regulations we are required to enforce from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario and Public Health.
