Remembering Miriam Zoleka Mpofu

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Miriam Zoleka Mpofu. Mimie left us suddenly and unexpectedly on March 16, 2021 at the age of 20. Leaving behind her parents, Balton and Brenda Mpofu, her brother, Jaison, and many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Mimie was a kind, humorous, caring, loving and a compassionate young lady who loved her family, enjoyed spending time with her friends, and loved caring for children and animals. A couple of her favourite hobbies were listening to music, watching movies and spending quality time with those in her life. She will be remembered by her beautiful eyes, smile and vibrant personality, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 23, 2021 from 10am until 12 noon.  Due to Covid – 19 restrictions, if you wish to attend the visitation, please call ahead to book a time, 705-326-3595.  Private family service to follow.  Burial at St. Andrews St. James Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Branch of the OSPCA at Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595.
