Passed peacefully at his home in Gananoque on March 10, 2021 in his 83rd year. Reid, loving husband to Donna Dominic, predeceased by his wife Mary, will be sadly missed by his son Albert (Emma) and by his grandchildren Zach, Alex, and Maia. Reid is survived by his sister Penny Asselstine. Reid was an educator and school administrator, a long time Rotarian, Past District Governor, Queens Scout, Past Treasurer of Canadian YMCA, and was involved with the Mariposa Arts Theatre. The family will celebrate Reid’s life at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday March 19, 2021 at 11 am. Due to Covid-19 government restrictions and limitations on numbers the event is limited to family and invitee’s only. The celebration will be live streamed to the Carson Funeral Home Youtube Channel (call if you require instructions). If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Rotary Club of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
