Remembering Audrey Gloria Clayton (nee Gill)

It is with great sadness that the family of Audrey Clayton (nee Gill) announce her peaceful passing on February 19, 2021, at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland, Ontario in her 94th year.  Born in Toronto, Audrey is predeceased by her Husband Tom and her son Dean.  Her memory will be cherished by her sons David (Sheila), Brian (Jill) and daughter-in-law Lorraine.  Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jessica, Courtney, Erin, Whitney, Paul, Jennifer, Brody and Stacy.  She will forever remain in all of our hearts.

Audrey embraced life with positive energy; loved cards, bingo, theatre, travel and was game to try just about anything that came her way, especially a trip to Rama or Vegas!  Upon retirement, she was indeed blessed and grateful to have caring neighbors and friends in Victoria Harbour before moving into Tiffin Retirement Residence in Midland.  Here, she touched the hearts of so many wonderful residents and staff.  Everyone loved Audrey!; she will be remembered with tremendous fondness and respect.  Special thanks to everyone at Tiffin House for their continuous, loving care and the compassionate staff at the hospital in her final days.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no funeral service; cremation has taken place.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551.  Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family if desired.
