Peacefully at Oak Terrace Nursing Home, Orillia on Sunday December 1, 2019, one day prior to her 95th birthday. Ferne Attwell of Orillia, beloved wife of Keith Attwell. Loving mother of Wellesley Attwell (Daisy) and Krista Rothwell (Michael). Grandmother of Ethan, Daniel and the late Benjamin. Predeceased by her siblings Elmer, Arnold, Raymond, Alvin, Lloyd, Ida, Laurena, Jessie and Doris. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Wednesday December 4, 2019 from 7-9 P.M. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday afternoon, December 5, 2019 at 1 o’clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations to the Mariposa House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
