Remembering Marjorie Olive Roe (nee Reid)

Peacefully in her sleep at Oak Terrace, Orillia on Tuesday November 26, 2019. Wife of the late Norman Roe of Oro-Medonte Marjorie was born in Sebright, daughter of the late Russell and Betty Reid (nee McFadyen). Pre-deceased by her beloved sister Christine and twin brothers who died young. Loving mother of 6 children: Randy (Lynda) of Oro, Rhonda (Tony Milley) of PEI, Reta (Henry Regelink) of Oro, Roberta (Mike Gaudet) of PEI, Russell (Colleen) of Orillia and Robin(Pam) of Orillia. Warm and caring Grandma to Jerry, Daniel, Christine, Ashley, Jordan, Sarah, Alex, Jessie, Shonna, Brandie, Leanne and Jenna. Great Grandmother of 11 children. Long time member of LOBA343, Recipient of Ontario Volunteer Service Award 2016, Life Member of Women's Institute, Member of Horticultural Society- Gardening was a Passion especially her Iris. Marjorie will be forever remembered for her kind and thoughtful manner with everyone she met and for her community involvement. Also for her love and devotion to her family and friends. Relatives and friends will be received at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595on Thursday November 28, 2019 from 6-9 P.M. Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday morning November 29, 2019 at 11 o’clock. A reception will follow the service. The interment will follow the reception at Knox Cemetery, Oro-Medonte at 2;30 P.M. If desired, memorial donations to Esson Presbyterian Church, Oro-Medonte or the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association would be appreciated.
