Passed peacefully at Rama Extended Care on Tuesday October 8, 2019 in her 81st year. Darlene, loving wife to Frank, will be sadly missed by her children Robert (Christina) King, Edward (Kathy) Sharpe, Brenda (Dave) Dupuis, and Steven Sharpe, and by her grandchildren Shawntell Dupuis (Mike), Charlene Dupuis (Dave), Christopher Sharpe, Chad Sharpe, RJ King, and Aimee Kennedy. Darlene will be cherished by her great grandchildren Quinton Dupuis, Sierra Dupuis, Lakota, Sage, Kristen, Tegan, and Andreas. Darlene is predeceased by her son Barry and by her brothers Grant and Glen King, and by her sister Brenda King. Darlene will be fondly remembered by her brother in law Lorne (Jackie) Sharpe and Gordon (Sharon) Sharpe. Relatives and friends will be received at the Rama Community Center on Friday October 11, 2019 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm, and on Saturday October 12, from 11 am until the time of service at 1 o’clock. Interment to follow at Rama Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation – Dialysis Unit and will be accepted by the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595.
