Passed away on Sunday September 29, 2019 at Georgian Bay General Hospital at the age of 71. Loving wife of the late Bill Wakish. Beloved mother of Jeremy (Cheryl) and Hillary (Chris). Cherished Grandma of Kosta, Anastasia, Carter and Rhys. Dear Sister of Mary Ann VanMaanen and Frank Kekstetter. Betty is predeceased by her parents Adam & Anna Breitenbach. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday October 10, 2019 at St. Mary of the Assumption in Victoria Harbour at 11:30am. Following the memorial mass a reception will be held at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 from 1 – 3pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family if desired.
