Remembering Bernice Broeders

Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Thursday July 11, 2019 at the age of 77. Bernice Broeders, beloved wife of the late Harry Broeders and the late Bill Thompson. Loving mother of Ella (Tim) Murray, Kathy (Harold) Sedore, George (Marie) Thompson, Harry (Cindy) Broeders, John (April) Broeders, Richard (Melissa) Broeders, Michael (Chantelle) Broeders, Patricia Broeders (Les Sherwood) and Clarence Mountney. Loved by 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings Marion Crumb, Sadie Ann Mountney, Evelyn Fraser, Doris Greiner, Florence Purdy, Lloyd Mountney, Ken Mountney, Stanley Mountney and Clarence Mountney. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the nurses on Soldiers’ 1 for their excellent care and to the Bayshore nurses for their constant care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Monday July 15, 2019 from 7-9 P.M. and on Tuesday morning July 16, 2019 from 10 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11 o’clock. Interment, St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
