Peacefully following a lengthy illness at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Saturday July 6, 2019 at the age of 78. Elizabeth Whelan of Severn, beloved wife of Michael (Mike) Whelan. Loving mother of Pamela (Jim) Davidson, Jody (Peggy) Carter, Nancy (Jay) McGregor, Wendy Carter predeceased, Christopher (Cheryl) Whelan, Kevin (Andrea) Whelan and Lynn (Sean Frances) Whelan. Loved by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Barbara Barrett, David Barrett predeceased, Jack Barrett and Carolyn Commanda. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe, Barrie would be appreciated.
