Born on August 18, 1927 in London, England, passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital on June 29, 2019. Janis Sanford (nee Parfitt) of Barrie, predeceased by her husband Harold. Loving mother of Andrew (Karen) and Ken (Nancy). Grandmother of Andrew (Dawn), Melodie (Melissa), Jeremiah and Timothy (Becky), with five great grandchildren. In England, predeceased by her sister Rhoda (Stan) Harland; aunt to Mike (Crys) Harland; and great aunt to Steve (David Miles), David (Esther) and Andrew Harland. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at a later date. Janis had a special love for animals as demonstrated by her years of pet-sitting during retirement. Memorial donations may be made to the S.P.C.A.
