Surrounded by family she passed unexpectedly at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Sunday April 21, 2019 at 61 years young. Lorraine, loving companion to Ken Esch, will be sadly missed by her children Valerie Langdon (Mike Shapero), Katherine Langdon, and Rachel Langdon (James), and by her grandchildren Sadie, Colin, Henry, Ksenia and Sydnee. Lorraine is predeceased by her son Victor Langdon, parents Audrey and Harold Woods of Orillia and her sister Brenda of Meritt, BC. Lorraine is survived by 2 of her sisters Shirley (Michel) Tetrault of Montreal and Cheryl(Daren) Penny of Orangeville. Lorraine was a proud Aunt to Ashley (Aron) Horner and their 2 children Max and Isaac of Orillia and Nicolas Penney of Orangeville. Lorraine was a caring grandmother to her grand-dogs Odie, Scarlet, Daisy, and Mister. Lorraine was a dedicated nurturer of all animals. The family will receive relatives and friends to celebrate Lorraine’s life at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Sunday April 28, 2019 from 2 – 5 p.m. with speeches at 3:30. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the OSPCA – Orillia Branch or Barrie Branch and would be appreciated by the family.
