Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday January 11, 2019 at the age of 62. Maureen Mitchell of Orillia, is the beloved wife of Peter Mitchell and loving mother of Ryan (Nina), Tara (Brad) Burkholder and Sean (Leahona). Loved by her granddaughters Isla and Annabelle. Sister to Kelly (Trevor), Patrick and Katie. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and by her in-laws Barbara, David and Susan. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Maureen’s life will be held at Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club, Orillia on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 2:30. Visitation will be held from 1 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Mariposa House Hospice or the Canadian Hearing Society (please specify in memory of Maureen Mitchell) would be appreciated by the family.
