Remembering Diane Edwards

Passed away at home surrounded by her devoted and caring family on Monday September 24, 2018 in her 78 year after a courageous battle against cancer.  Her perseverance was evident obtaining her High School Diploma as an adult and learning to play the bag pipes.  She was a member of the Stouffville, Penetanguishene, Midland and Mass Legion Bands playing in multiple Rose and Orange Bowl parades as well as for Queen Elizabeth II.  She had a passionate sense of adventure and could be found skydiving, climbing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and swimming with the dolphins.  Her smile and positive attitude will forever remain in our hearts.  Loving partner of Ted Francis. Dear mother of Robert Edwards (Gabe Bailey), Laura Edwards, Sharon Edwards, Elizabeth Edwards, Brad Francis, Debbie Mitchell and Monica Francis. Cherished grandmother of Brittany, Dalton, Brandon, Katherine, Jake, Wesley, Conner, Rachael, Danielle and Zack. Diane is survived by her sister Margaret (James) Fisher. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 27, 2018 at the Midland Legion from 2pm-5pm.
