Remembering Verna Emily McPhee

Peacefully at Champlain Manor, Orillia on Sunday March 13, 2016 in her 96th year. Verna McPhee of Oro-Medonte, beloved wife of the late Arch McPhee. Loving mother of David & wife Bonnie and Terry & wife Susan all of Oro-Medonte. Loved Grandmother of Amanda & husband Ed Novosky, Cortney McPhee, the late Michael McPhee, Graydon McPhee (Claire) and Victoria McPhee (Brad). Cherished Great Grandmother to Ethan and Mairyn Novosky. Loved sister of Ella Horne of Oro-Medonte. Survived by her sister-in-law June McPhee of Oro-Medonte and predeceased by Marg & Morley Shelswell. Special aunt of Melanie Tullett and to many other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning March 19, 2016, at 11 o’clock. Spring interment at Knox Cemetery, Oro-Medonte. If desired, memorial donations to the Forest Home United Church or the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
