Remembering Mary Barbara Elaine Holmes (nee Boyer) 'Elaine'

Passed peacefully at home in Orillia on Monday December 7, 2015 in her 78th year.  Elaine, is predeceased by her spouse George Cooper, was the loving mother to Pansy (Ron) Hackett, Debbie (Eric) Schop, Perry Holmes, Janie (Lorne) Jones, Jeannie (Erik) Hartwick, Sherry (John) Ferguson, Randy Holmes (Jocelyn), and Cindy (Dale) Lee.  Cherished grandmother of Thomas (Sherry) Hackett, Sheri-ann (James) Cordery, Laurel (Andy) Ketola, Lisa, Jason, Chris (Ali), Jonathan (Sarah), Terry, Kerry, Douglas, Crystal (Adam), Scott, Stacey (Clayton) Chelsey.  Great grandmother to Adam, Brianna, Ciara, Colton, Emily, Emma, Gabriella, Gage, Jessica (Chris), Lucas, Matt, Mia, Morgan, Nate, Sabri, and Samantha .  Dear sister of Pat (George) Taylor, Shirley Bagg, Barb (Dave) Mitchell, and Don and Billy Boyer.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Thursday December 10, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m, and on Friday December 11, 2015 from 10 am until time of service in the Chapel at 11 o’clock.  If desired memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
