Remembering Drummond McKerrow

Passed suddenly at home while caring for his cherished wife, on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, in his 90th year. Drummond McKerrow of Orillia, beloved husband of Marilyn McKerrow (nee Campkin). Loving father of Kevin McKerrow (Susan) of Ottawa and Peter McKerrow (Dina Policarpio) of Barrie. Loved grandfather of Riley, Emily and Madeline McKerrow and step grandfather to Kyla and Regina Natan. Survived by his brother Michael McKerrow (Sandra) of British Columbia. Born in England, Drummond served in the British Armed Forces before moving to Orillia as a young man, where he became a proud Canadian, devoted husband, father and grandfather. Drummond will be forever remembered by family, friends and neighbours for his unfailing loyalty, kindness and generosity. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Monday from 7-9 P.M. A celebration of Drummond’s life will be held from St. James’ Anglican Church, 58 Peter St. N., Orillia on Tuesday morning October 6, 2015 at 11 o’clock. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
