Remembering Thomas Marr

Passed away suddenly at The Villa Care Centre in Midland on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the age of 74. Tom leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Diane, his daughter Heidi (Adam Jones), son Gavin, step-children Greg McConnachie, Jennifer Hartnell (Stuart), Doug McConnachie, and grandchildren Hope, Cody, Alex, Audrey, Bailey, Taylor, Connor, Ryan, Blake, Owen. Son of Dorothy and Glover Marr, Tom was second youngest of seven. He is survived by Maxine Verdan, Bruce Marr, Beulah Galivan and pre-deceased by Violet Staunton, brothers David and Lloyd. Tom will be dearly missed by family and friends. He was an active member of St Paul's United Church where he ran the Monday Drop-in Centre for over ten years. Before that, Tom enjoyed a long career as Principal and teacher at several local schools. Cremation and internment will take place at a later date. Friends will be recieved at St Paul's United Church on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 1pm, until time of  Memorial Service at 2pm, Reception to follow 3-4pm.
