Remembering Irene Gladys Hamill (nee Chisholm)

Irene Chisholm, beloved wife of the late Charles Hamill, at the age of 97 years.  Survived by daughters Barbara (Roy) Leighton, and Ferne (Bob) Osborne, grandchildren Scott (Nicola) Osborne, Jan (Ken) Janisse, Mark (Tarrah) Leighton, Susan Leighton (fiancé Michael), great grandchildren Peter and Erin Osborne.  Remembered by sister Ethel Gilchrist (Archie predeceased), brother George Chisholm (Joan) and their families.  Predeceased by brother Thomas, his wife Eva and brother Wallace Chisholm.  She will be missed by good friends Bill and Joan Osborne, much loved “Nana” of Jim Osborne, his wife Jill and children Matthew and Brooke Osborne.  Predeceased by Bill and Edna Hamill, Anne & Doug Morrison.  Especially Remembered by niece Jean Morrison and Alison MacCrimmon.  The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Monday September 22, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 o’clock.  Reception to follow at the Old Rectory Reception Centre.  Interment at Sebright Cemetery following the reception.  Donations may be made to the Dog Guides Lion Foundation of Canada, to the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation, or to the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
