Remembering John Maxwell Tennant

With sadness we announce the passing of John Maxwell Tennant, in his 93rd year in hospital in Orillia on February 18th 2017, surrounded by family. Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Elizabeth (nee Brown), his brother William (Bill) and sister Beth Tippin. He leaves behind his loving wife Margaret (nee Preston) in their 70th year of marriage, his sons Stephen (Susan Scully), Drew ( Susan Batchelor), his daughter Janice and grandchildren, Jodi (Julie Gazzola), Adam and Lucas Tennant, Georgia and Isobel Grieve, as well as sister-in-law Mabel Tennant and brother-in-law Don Waugh, nieces, nephews and friends. With quiet dignity, Dad gave us Canada, the love of the outdoors and music, all in his caring way. In Dad's Memory, please make donations to a charity of your choice and do something for someone else. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Thanks, Dad.
