Remembering Ruby Watson

(Life Member of Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34, Orillia and Member of St. David’s Anglican Church, Orillia) Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday May 31, 2016 in her 96th year. Ruby Watson of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Charles Watson. Loving mother of Twyla (Cecil) McLaughlin of Orillia and God Mother to Dell Reed (Carolyn) of Edmonton, Alberta. Loved grandmother of Owen, Tia, David and Stephen. Cherished great grandmother of Gillian and Charlie. Dear sister of Ruth McKenzie and John Sheppard. Predeceased by siblings, Roma Sheppard, Rhoda Readman and Donald Sheppard. Survived by her aunt Lornette Mitchell, by her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Sunday June 5, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday afternoon June 6, 2016, at 1 o’clock. Interment, St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to St. David’s Church, O.S.M.H.
