Passed peacefully at IOOF Nursing Home in Barrie on Monday February 1, 2016 in his 91st year. Allan, loving husband to the late Edna, will be sadly missed by his sons Douglas (Linda) Russell, and Raymond (Debbie), by his daughters Doreen (Richard) Bruining, Karen Black (Ernie), Colleen (Dave) Stuy, and Lori-Ann (sergio) Clayton, by his 25 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and by his many nieces and nephews and many close friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Tuesday February 2, 2016 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m.. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday February 3, 2016 at 11 o’clock. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society and would be appreciated by the family.
