Remembering George Murray Short

Passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the age of 87. George Short, beloved husband of the late Edna Mae Short (nee Dewhurst). Loving father of Warren Short of Toronto and Shelda-Marie (Jeff) Usher of Bowmanville. Loved grandfather of Daphne, Lindsay, Tamara and Hailee. Dear brother of Hazel Cuddy, Mary Frank, Phyllis Dillman, Charlie Short, Jim Short and predeceased by Clayton Short, Ellen Leeder, Ralph Short, Arnold Short, Albert Short and Ruth Dean. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday afternoon, January 21, 2016, at 1 o’clock. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
