Passed away peacefully on Thursday August 13, 2015 at Georgian Bay General Hospital at the age of 81. Loving wife of the late John Ayers. Marilyn is predeceased by her parents George and Olive Vander Voort and by her brother Merton and sister Kay MacRitchie. Marilyn will be deeply missed by her nieces Debbie Hindle and Darlene Dubeau. Private burial has taken place and at Marilyn’s request there will be no funeral service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family if desired.
