Remembering Betty Marilyn Hard

Passed peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Friday April 3, 2015 in her 89th year.  She passed gently from a remarkably varied, active and exciting life, into a hard earned, well deserved and joyful afterlife.  Betty is predeceased by husbands Karl Forrest and Gord Hard, and will be sadly missed by her sons John (Carol) Forrest, William (Julie) Forrest, and Bill (Jackie) Hard, by her daughter Cathy Hard, by her grandchildren Rob, Dana, Adam, Ian and Jonathan Forrest, Jennifer Hard, and Matthew and Christopher.  Betty will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Marian McIsaac and Fern Tennant and by her special friend Jim Templeton.  Betty is predeceased by her brothers Hilton and Bud Shakell.  A special thank you to Dr’s Kee, Farn, and Kamal, and to CCAC and Bayshore Health, especially nurse Colleen, for their dedicated care.  Thank you also to Foodland for their service.  A memorial service will be held at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia on Saturday April 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m..  If desired memorial donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Orillia Humane Society and would be appreciated by the family.
