Remembering Grace Eleanor Walsh

Passed peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Tuesday February 24, 2015 in her 91st year.  Grace will sadly missed by her children Patricia Devenish, Christine Walsh, and Cynthia (Allan) Ettenson.  Grace will be cherished by her 11 grandchildren, by her 11 great grandchildren, and by her daughter in law Barbara Walsh.  Grace is predeceased by her son Richard. Grace grew up on a farm in Wellington County.  Grace worked as a writer (stenographer) in Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service in WWII.  Grace worked in the provincial office of the N.D.P. for 11 years and in the Steel Workers office in Peel and in the Orillia Steelworkers office for 11 years. Family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia on Friday February 27, 2015 from 10 – 11 am., with service to Follow at St. James Anglican Church (corner of Peter St. and Coldwater Rd.) at 11 o’clock.  Spring interment at Coningsby Cemetery in Hillsburgh.  If desired memorial donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church or to the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
