We recently entrusted Carson Funeral Homes with the loss of our elderly parents. Funeral Director John Griffiths & Funeral Director Assistant Sue Morris we’re both so professional, caring and accommodating ….walking us effortlessly through the funeral/burial process. They kindly gave us “free rein” to personalize the visitation and service which created an atmosphere tailored to the well-lived lives of each of our parents. Kudos to the entire Carson staff. You were all such a pleasure to deal with at such a difficult time. May your tradition of trust and care continue.

My parents decided some years ago to have Carson Funeral Homes pre-arrange their funeral plans to make it easier on the family when the time came. Over the years they changed their minds on what they wanted and contacted Jon Griffiths to see if the changes could be made. Jon assisted and made their requests simple and straight forward. All of the changes where made with no problems at all. My Mother passed in 2020 and again, Carson Funeral HOmes were there when we needed them. They set up the celebration of life and made arrangements for everything, including a video feed for those that could not attend. All during the Covid lockdown. One year later, my father passed and I relied on them again to assist the family. I made one call to Jon on a Sunday and he immediately arranged everything. I cant say enough good things about Carson Funeral Homes and all the staff that helped us through some very difficult times. I would recommend their services to anyone.

My mother died only days before her 102nd birthday. I entrusted the needed details for her funeral service to Carson Funeral Home in Orillia. My mother wanted a celebration of her life to be an occasion for grief, memories, and joyous love that goes on in her friends and family. I found the services at Carson’s excellent! They worked to make her funeral day that was inclusive of all she had wanted. I can’t thank them enough for their excellent work for my family!

My husband and I lost 3 elderly parents in the span of 5 years. While the passing of each of our loved ones was slightly different, everyone at Carson’s provided us consistent professionalism and compassion. From the initial phone call to the aftercare meeting, they listened to our needs and wants while at the same time suggesting ideas that we had not even considered. That all being said, their biggest strength is their ability to provide all the above, while at the same time making us feel that we were a part of their family.
