Remembering Bernard Andrew Dorion

Passed peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland on Tuesday April 18, 2023 in his 79^th year. Bernard, loving husband of Solange “Sally” for 53 years, will be sadly missed by his children Greg (Lana Clarke), Kevin (Sue Maracle), Jeremy (Cathy), and Andrea (Sam) Ellery.  Bernard will be cherished by his grandchildren Ashley (Quintin), Rebecca (Matthew), Michael, Kendall, Taylor, Damien (Adrianna), Justin, Connor, Kimberley (Jason), Gregory (Emelie), Georgia, Elexis, and Wyatt, and by his great grandchildren Rorey, Finn, Hayley, Aryanna, Aubree, Mason, Kason, Isabelle and Elisabeth.  He is survived by his brother Venard (Anne) and his sister Rita (predeceased by Carmen).  Predeceased by his brothers Germain, Alfred Jr. (Rita), Alcime (survived by Bernice), Raymond (survived by Jeanne), and sisters Clothide (Archie) and Ella May (Francis).  Son of the late Alfred Sr. and Eunice Dorion (nee Mayer).  He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Sunday April 23, 2023      from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m.  A mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saint Ann’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday April 24, 2023 at 2 o’clock.  If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke would be appreciated by the family.
