Remembering Barbara Rose Mitchell

Barbara Rose Mitchell, in her 89th year, passed away with her family at her side on February 22, 2020.  Devoted and loving Mother to David (Susan), Peter (pre deceased by beloved Daughter-in-law, Maureen), and Susan.  Cherished Nana of Cameron (Lindsay), Ryan (Nina), Tara (Brad) and Sean (Leahona).  Great Nana to Isla, Annabelle, Thatcher and Declan.  Honorary Nana to Sarah (Justin) and Emily.   Dear Sister-in-Law of Pam and Roger Rawlings.Barbara lived a life of faith devoted to her family and church and was blessed with many life long friendships.  The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care she received.  We also thank all those that remembered Barbara in their prayers, left messages of care and encouragement and sent cards of best wishes during her brief illness.  A special thank you to Carol Sinclair for all her love and support including hosting our last Christmas together with our Mom; memories we will forever cherish.
