Passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Friday March 1, 2019 in her 71st year. Anna, loving wife to Borden Sr., will be sadly missed by her children Walter (Elizabeth), Borden Jr. (Rose), and Nadia Schubert. Anna will be cherished by her grandchildren Jesse, Michael, Andrew, Ryan, and Rick and by her nieces and nephews John, Cathy, Michael, Amanda, and Kaitlyn. Anna is survived by her brother Michael (Susan) Krawczuk and by her sister Mary (Romeo) Carriere. Anna is predeceased by her sister Gail (Senna) Boucher. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Tuesday March 5, 2019 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Church of the Guardian Angels on Wednesday March 6, 2019 at 2 p.m.. Interment to follow at St. Michaels Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
