Remembering Iva May Bond (nee Burke)

Iva passed away peacefully on November 24, 2018 at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton, in her 99th year.  Iva was the beloved wife of the late Richard Bond and dear mother of Jerry (Betty) and Carol (Linda). She was a caring foster mother to Annette Cox and Beth Welch.  She was much loved by her grandchildren Jerry (Patti), Beverley, (Lorne), Michelle (Ted), Paula,  and Michael (Tomoko) and  great-grandchildren Christopher, Emily, Jessica, Lucas, Liam, Makayla, Owen, Teagan, Brayden, Luke and Luna . She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Mary Ellen, and 10 siblings, Art, Edward, Wilmar, Jean, Wray, Verna, William Verdan, Evelyn, Hazel ,and  Len.  The family would like to thank the staff of Lakeview Manor for their loving care and many kindnesses.  The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St.E. Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Wednesday November 28, 2018  from 12 noon until funeral service at 1 o’clock.  Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.  If desired, memorial donations to Brock/Norma Green Christmas Wish Program or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
