Remembering Sheldon Charles Ego

Life Long resident/farmer of the Ardtrea Community

Passed peacefully at Birchmere Retirement Lodge in Orillia on Wednesday August 22, 2018 in his 89^th year.  Sheldon, predeceased by his parents Roy and Myrtle Ego and by his brother Russell, will be sadly missed by his sister Shirley (Roy, predeceased), and by his sister in law Betty.  Sheldon is survived by his nieces Alison (Ron) Johnston and their children, by his nephew Ross Ego, and by his nieces Erin, and Janet. Sheldon is predeceased by his nephew Lyle.  Sheldon was a pillar of the Ardtrea United Church and of the local farming community.  A special thank you to Dr. Erika Catford and the Birchmere Retirement Lodge. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Sunday August 26, 2018 from 4 – 8 p.m..  Private family services will be held at Ardtrea United Church.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
