Remembering Allan Finlay McKay

(Member of Equity Masonic Lodge #659 A.F. & A.M. and former Board Member of Coldwater Public School) Passed away at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia, on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at the age of 94. Allan McKay of Orillia, beloved husband of the late Lela, the late Hazel and the late Lillian. Loving father of James (Judy) McKay of Orillia, the late Donald (Marie) McKay of Calgary, Lorne (Darlene) McKay of Coldwater and the late Kenneth McKay of Orillia. Step father of Wendy and the late Allan Brittain of Orillia, Carla (Arthur) Queiroz, Connie Meeks (Darren Everest) of Gravenhurst, Douglas and Crawford. Loved by his grandchildren Duane, Shannon, Adrien, Lisa, Shaun, Heather and Benjamin, also by his step grandchildren, Amy, Nicole, Eric, Carley, Paul, Erin, Lindsay and Coulson. Will be missed by his 12 great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Bernal McKay and Eileen Hewitt of Orillia. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Monday June 25, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Tuesday June 26, 2018 from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 1 o’clock. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
