At the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Saturday July 19, 2014 in her 87th year. Lela McKay of Orillia, beloved wife of Allan McKay and the late Oscar Meeks. Loving mother of Wendy Brittain (Allan predeceased) of Orillia, Carla Queiroz (Arthur) of Brazil, Connie Meeks (Darren Everest) of Gravenhurst, and step mother of James McKay (Judy) of Orillia, Donald McKay (Marie) of Calgary, Lorne McKay (Darlene) of Coldwater, Kenneth McKay of Orillia. Loved by her grandchildren Amy, Nicole, and Eric, her step grandchildren Duane, Shannon, Adrien, Lisa, Shaun, Heather, Benjamin and by 11 step great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Walker & Hazel Camick. Dear sister of the late Vera & Lorne Brunton, Lyle Camick (Sadie) of Kilworthy, Ellen Watson (Alfred) of Severn Township and David Camick (Bonnie) of Kilworthy. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at 1 o’clock. Interment, St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
