Passed suddenly at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Saturday March 22, 2014 in her 78th year. Betty, predeceased by her husband Elwin, will be sadly missed by her daughters Marg (Brenda Amos) Raycroft and Sherry Raycroft, and by her son Wayne (Velvet) Raycroft, and by her grandchildren Jan, Grace, and Ethan. Betty is predeceased by her daughter Wendy. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday March 28, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m.. Memorial service will take place in the chapel on Saturday March 29, 2014 at 1 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Sunnybrook Hospital, and would be appreciated by the family.
