Remembering Julianna Matyas

Our mom saw the potential in all people, especially children. She looked for opportunities to make things better. She did not understand no, and, she saw no insurmountable obstacles. She believed in finding solutions not excuses. She was not afraid to fight bullies and was always ready to advocate for those in need. She was willing to forgive and eager to make friends and allies. She worked hard and was successful because of her own efforts.  She lived according to her beliefs. She inspirited and touched many lives. She used her life and lived it to the fullest. She is deeply missed by her children and their spouses, her grandchildren, her brother and three sisters and their families, her friends, colleagues, the Board of We are the Villagers, and the children supported by her charity.
